Refund, Return, Cancellation & Health Policy
Cane Corso Puppies

Purpose
This policy outlines the terms for deposits, cancellations, refunds, returns, and health guarantees for all puppies sold by Cane Corso Puppies. By placing a deposit or accepting a puppy, you agree to these terms.

Reservations & Deposits
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a specific puppy.
Deposits secure your place on the puppy and remove it from availability for other buyers.
Deposits are transferable to another puppy from a future litter if you provide written notice at least 14 days before your scheduled pickup date.
Deposits are forfeited if you cancel within 14 days of pickup, fail to respond to communications for 7 days, or fail to take possession of the puppy on the agreed date.
The remaining balance is due in full at least 48 hours before pickup or before the puppy is released to transport.
Cancellations
By Buyer:
More than 14 days before pickup: Deposit may be applied as a credit toward a future litter within 12 months of the original reservation date.
14 days or less before pickup: Deposit is forfeited. No exceptions for change of mind, housing changes, financial issues, or travel conflicts.

By Breeder:
If we cancel due to illness, injury, death, or a determination that the puppy is not fit for sale, you will receive either:
A full refund of all payments made, or
A full transfer of your deposit to another available puppy.
We will not be liable for travel costs, time off work, or other incidental expenses.

Health Guarantee
We breed for health and temperament, but genetics cannot be 100% guaranteed.

Coverage:
Each puppy is sold with a 24-month congenital health guarantee covering life-threatening genetic defects of the heart, liver, and kidneys.
A 12-month guarantee covers hip and elbow dysplasia confirmed by OFA or Penn HIP radiographs taken after 18 months of age.
A 72-hour health guarantee covers contagious illness present at the time of sale, provided the puppy is examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of possession.

Claim Process:
To make a claim, you must provide:
Written diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian.
All diagnostic records, X-rays, and lab results.
Notice to us within 48 hours of diagnosis.

Remedy:
If a covered condition is confirmed, you may choose:
A replacement puppy of equal value from the next available litter, or
A full refund of the purchase price.
We do not reimburse veterinary bills, surgery costs, or other expenses. The original puppy must be returned to us unless euthanasia is recommended by your vet for humane reasons.

Exclusions:
This guarantee does not cover:
Conditions caused by injury, infection, parasite, poor diet, over-exercise, or neglect.
Minor issues such as parasites, ear infections, cherry eye, umbilical hernias under 1 inch, and undescended testicles.
Behavioral issues, allergies, or conditions arising after the guarantee period.
Dogs that have been bred, shown in bite work, or used for protection training.

Spay/Neuter & Breeding Rights
Pet-quality puppies are sold on a limited registration and require spay/neuter by 18-24 months. Proof must be provided within 30 days of the procedure.
Breeding rights are only granted on select puppies with a separate contract and additional fee.
Violating spay/neuter terms voids all guarantees and may result in legal action.

Returns & Rehoming
We do not accept returns of healthy puppies due to buyer regret, lifestyle changes, or behavioral issues that arise from lack of training.
If you can no longer keep the dog at any point in its life, you must contact us first. We reserve the right of first refusal and will assist in rehoming to an approved home. Selling or surrendering the dog to a shelter without our consent is a breach of contract.

Temperament & Training
Cane Corsos are guardian breeds requiring early socialization and consistent training. We are not responsible for behavioral issues caused by inadequate training, lack of socialization, or improper handling. We strongly recommend professional training and will provide resources upon request.

Pick-up, Delivery & Shipping
Puppies must be picked up or released to transport within 7 days of the agreed date.
Failure to do so without communication results in forfeiture of deposit and the puppy may be resold.
If you request us to hold the puppy beyond the agreed date, a boarding fee of $25/day applies.
For shipped puppies, you assume all risk once the puppy is in the carrier’s possession. We use licensed pet transport only.

Veterinary Care
You agree to provide routine veterinary care, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and a diet appropriate for a giant breed puppy. Failure to do so voids all health guarantees.

Disputes
Any dispute arising from this agreement will be mediated in good faith. If mediation fails, the dispute will be resolved in the courts of [Your State/County]. The prevailing party is entitled to reasonable attorney fees.

Agreement
Placing a deposit constitutes acceptance of this policy and our full Puppy Purchase Agreement. This policy may be updated at any time, but the version in effect at the time of deposit applies to your transaction.
